Full Plot Summary[]
Reincarnation 153 - The Old Ren is Gone
From the last volume, Yoh defeats Mohamed, Peyote, and Zang-Ching. Nichrom asks Yoh how he found him and his allies. Yoh tells his team that Ren lost his focus when he found out that Nichrom was Chrom's brother. Yoh thinks Ren has a heart when Ren's remorse rattled him. Nichrom asks Yoh if it was the traitor Silva, but Yoh tells Nichrom to leave. Even though Nicrome wants his allies to fight back, Hao's followers tells him to retreat due to Yoh's allies, Ryu and Faust, who appears and their mana level depleted. Faust explains to Horohoro that Ren has suffered from severe trauma to the arteries and the heart, and he cannot help Ren because Ren has expired in at state of severe shock. Faust confesses that he cannot overcome death again with tears streaming on his face. When Horohoro grabs Yoh, Yoh reassures Horohoro that Ren is not completely death due his soul is still there clinging to Ren's body. While Yoh explains that Jeanne's healing powers may revive Ren, Manta is at the X-Ark's docks.
Reincarnation 154 - Who the Heck?
As Marco drives the car, Lyserg and Jeanne are in the back while Manta sits near Marco. As manta look at Jeanne, she smiles at him. Meanwhile at the stadium, Radim asks the audience where is Mickey Asakura's team and asks if team Mariachi is going to win by default. Back to Golda and Kalim, Goldva tells Kalim that Mickey is involved in a battle of survival outside of the official fight. She tells Kalim to inform Radim to postpone the match for about a half an hour.
Back to Mickey's teammates, Kanna asks Anna if she is the girl that Lord Hao was flirting with earlier; Anna asks Kanna if she is jealous. Kanna wonders who does Anna think she is while Kanna sends Ashcroft to fight. Anna asks Jun to fight Ashcroft because she wants to see how strong Pailong is. Kanna calls Anna a wench as Ashcroft engages Pailong. Anna figures out Kanna's power which is ectoplasmic.
Reincarnation 155 - My Terms
After Ashcroft loses his gaunlet, he introduces himself to Pailong and talks about honor. Even though Pailong tells Ashcroft that his sense of chilvary is out of lines, he throws Ashcroft his gaunlet. Suddenly, Pailong attacks Ashcroft and explains that he will destroy his armor which is the spirit medium. When Pailong knocks out Ashcroft with his new move, Jun explains that Pailong has a new upgrade which uses a machine gun that is powered by a piston. As Tamao tells Anna that Jun and Pailong make a good couple, Anna corrects Tamao by stating that Pailong is a philanderer since he already had a wife and a kid. Also, Anna states that the armor is not the spirit medium.
Meanwhile at the X-Laws car, Manta asks Jeanne why she respond so quickly. Jeanne says that helping people is an important cause. Also, she tells Manta that it is nice to get out of the Iron Maiden once in a while. Then Manta asks her about her terms for saving Ren's life. She explains near-death experience boosts a shaman's mana. She gives an example of Hao earns his mana through dying and reincarnating. For her, she subjects herself to torture by going through near-death situations to accumulate mana. Finally, she tells Manta that Ren can gain at least 50,000 mana.
Reincarnation 156 - Sorry
Chocolove slaps Yoh for asking the X-Laws for help. Ryu and Faust support Yoh's decision. Horohoro yells out about how he lost to a wimp who would throw everything to save a friends. Horohoro tells Yoh that he will not forgive him if Ren dies. At last, Marco, Manta, Lady Jeanne, and Lyserg have arrive. He knows Yoh is Hao's brother. As Lady Jeanne is changing in the car, Marco tells Yoh that a King sacrifice a few for the good of many, a king does not sacrifice himself to save his people.
Reincarnation 157 - Thank You
Back to Anna and Team Hana Gumi, Matilda tells Anna she needs adjustment while Marion tells her team that one of should be dead. Anna tells Mickey's team to leave for their battle. When Matilda gets mad, she unleashes her pumpkin doll, Jack the ripper, on Anna. Suddenly, Tamao fires at the doll with Love Strike. As soon as Tamao makes her move, Marion uses Chuck to fire (Magnum Craft) on Tamao. Tamao uses Kokkuri Angel to shield herself. At first, Anna looks at Tamao while Kanna compliments on Tamao's quick thinking. Ponchi and Conchi comes out and shout that they will samsh them and speeze their heads until they pop. Kanna stomps and intimidates them. Matilda tells Tamao that she is a sweet girl, but she has clowns for her spirit allies while Marion place her face in her palms and cries that her attacks fail. Jun and Tamao finally convince Anna to go to Yoh's side. Anna takes the children and thanks Jun and Tamao.
Reincarnation 158 - Emeth
Redseb explains why he carries his sister on his back because her feelings had dried up. He explains that his dad was murdered on Christmas Eve 3 years ago. Even though they are not immigrants, they were waiting at the orphanage for their father to come back home to bring the presents. However, someone kill their father and took their presents. Redseb tells Anna that his goal is to fix his sister and find his father's killer with the help of the Great Spirit. When Anna asks Redseb about asking his father's ghost, Redseb informs her that it was too late. Suddenly, Redseb tells Anna that they forgot the golem which their father made for them. As soon as Anna summons her shikigamis, Salerm says three words "Chesed, Binah, Yesod" and the golem flies over them. At first, Anna is dumbfounded, and Redseb explains that he forgot the golem. He also tells Anna that if they had a mom, she'd be like that every morning when she sent us to school. Anna blushes and sasy s she will give them a 100 whacks. As Salerm and Redseb rides the golem, Anna comments that fate is a funny thing and that Mikihisa choose to team up with these children.
Reincarnation 159 - Tan-Tan-Tanuki and Its Thousand-Tatami Ghost Bubble
As Tamao and Jun attack Matilda and Marion, their attacks fail. Matilda's doll hurts Pailong while Marion's dolls cut Conchi's tail. When Ashcroft laughs about how Ponchi and Conchi's dismembered body parts are cliche, Conchi and Ponchi yells at him. Ashcroft thinks they challenge him attacks the two ghosts. Pailong attacks Ashcroft and thinks he has caught his lance. However, Ashcroft stabs Pailong from the back and slices off his right arm. Tamao realizes Ashcroft's real spirit medium is the smoke; the armor is a decoy. Tamao uses her oversoul, Kokkuri Angel! Tan-Tan-tanuki and its 10,000 Tamami Ghost Bubble, on Ashcroft.
Reincarnation 160 - The Mask Restored
Marion and Matilda use their Chuck and Jack the Ripper to shred Tamao's ghost bubble, and team Hana Gumi attacks Pailong and incapacitates him. As Kanna prepares to leave to pursue Anna and the children, Marie goes off in a rant. She says she wants to kill them and feed their souls to Hao's spirit. She says she hate people who dream each other's dream because it makes her life hard. She also says she hates slimy, clingy people. First, Matilda agrees with Marion while Kanna decides to finish them off. As team Hana Gumi tells Jun and Tamao that they were persecuted as witches, they attack Jun Tao and Tamao. Despite Conchi's warnings to the girls, Jun and Tamao cannot move because of their dark mana. Suddenly, Mikihisa appears and destroys Ashcroft by his mana while his mountain spirits crush the dolls.
Reincarnation 161 - The Crying Mask
When the girls yell at Mikihisa (after he introduced himself), he slaps Team Hana Gumi for using foul language. He pats Matilda and tells her that he will be her new daddy, so she can tell him her issues. Marion, who is freaked out by Mikihisa, jumps a bit when Mikihisa offers her doll and pats her on the head. When Kanna tries to summon Ashcroft with new cigarettes, Mikihisa takes Kanna's cigarette and lectures her not to smoke if she wants to have children. Then Mikihisa goes and slaps Tamao and Jun because what they were trying to protect is gone. Specifically, he means that they fight for no reason. After Jun tells Mikihisa that their fight is not pointless since it is their objective to defeat Team Hana Gumi, Team Hana Gumi prepares to attack Mikihisa again. He stops the trio of girls without force but his mana. He pats Marion on the shoulder and lectures that power is everything and children are dangerous when they are naive and innocent. As Kanna tries to attack Mikihisa, Magna appears to stop Kanna, and tells them to retreat with him since they are still useful to Hao. When Tamao asks Mikihisa about the three girls, he replies that there is nothing to do.
