|Attack on Titan Episode List|
When Levi's squad asks Levi to give them orders to stop the Female Titan, Levi tells them to cover their ears and shoots a noise grenade. Levi reminds his squad that their objective is to protect Eren. Eren urges them to help the reinforcements. However, Petra and the others tell Eren to keep his eyes on the road. Eren realizes he could transform into a Titan. Before he does, Petra reminds him of his promise. Levi remarks that Eren can do what he wants, since Eren is a monster. He asks Eren to choose the decision that he will regret the least later. In a flashback, Levi goes over the plans to examine Eren's physiology. Afterwards, Hanji has Eren holed up in a well. Once the signal fires, Eren bites his thumb and could not transform. Later, Hanji and Levi find Eren with bite marks all over his palms and fingers. Erd and Gunther remark that Eren's failure is not meaningless. When Eren struggles to pick up the spoon, Eren's arm explode, and he finds himself stuck to his limb. Levi calms down his men who had unsheathed their swords. Erd and Gunther ask Eren to explain that he is not a threat to humanity while Auruo tells him not to move.
Then, Hanji arrives on scene and asks Eren to let her touch his Titan arm. She exclaims how hot his arm felt. After Eren pulls out his hand, Hanji notices Eren's Titan hand was holding the spoon. In a meeting, Hanji points out that spoon isn't melted in the Titan steam and explains that Eren had a clear goal before transforming into a Titan. Petra and the others are relieved that Eren's transformation isn't on accident or deliberate. They bite their thumbs.
Back in the forest, Eren yells out that he will keep moving forward. The Female Titan is accelerating towards Levi's squad. Suddenly, Commander Erwin has his troops fire the wires into the Female Titan. Levi order his men to protect Eren before leaving them. Levi reminds Commander Erwin that several men had died to see this mission through.
