Plot[]

Seryu is playing with children in her free time. Wave asks Suzuka why she is helping them. Suzuka mentions she might get ordered by Esdeath as she pants and breathes heavily with a flushed face. Over at the Night Raid's base, Susanoo finishes dinner with special meals for his friends. Lubbock and Akame praise Susanoo for the meal. Susanoo points out Tatsumi hasn't finish all of his meal, pointing to a speck of food.

Later that night and In town, Suzuka spots Mine and Tatsumi strolling with their disguises and alerts Seryu.

Near the ruins, Mine asks Tatsumi if all of her makeup is gone. With her face close, Tatsumi blush and gets all flustered. Mine freaks out when she assumed Tatsumi believe the red string of fate. The two bicker in an argument while Seryu finds out Tatsumi is in league with Night Raid. Seryu takes out her justice detector to make sure no civilians are nearby. She has Coro change her armament and combine 2, 7, and 8 together. Knowing that Tatsumi is adored by Esdeath, she will carry out her mission to make both of them repent in the blazing fire. Seryu unleashes a barrage of missiles upon Tatsumi and Mine.

Coro holds the radar which confirms Tatsumi and Mine are still alive. Out of the blast zone, Tatsumi runs while carrying Mine on his shoulder. After getting to safe plateau, Tatsumi and Mine get attack by Suzuka. Tatsumi engages Suzuka. With the two gone, Mine faces Seryu all by herself. Seryu takes out #6 which is a large, single missile launcher. Yet, Mine easily blasts down the missile. Firing her detachable arm to reel herself towards Mine, she pulls out her large mace, #1. Coro jumps in to block Mine's blast. Using Coro as a stepping stone, Seryu attacks Mine but misses. Seryu announces that she will have Mine get eaten just like her friends after proudly revealing Chelsea was eaten. She takes out #5, her giant drill, and with Coro assisting her, Seryu charges in with Coro. Mine lets out a barrage of bullets on Coro, prompting Seryu to activate Coro's berserk mode.

When Coro is in danger, Seryu fires her drill, in an attempt to blow her up. As Mine slides down a cliff, Seryu fires and manages to catch Mine and punches her multiple times. Meanwhile, Suzuka knocks Tatsumi and notes that Tatsumi is inexperienced. She confirms Tatsumi wasn't the one who took down Mez and Ibara.

In Kyoroch, Susanoo manages to knock down both Natala and Doya. Kurome asks Leone and Susanoo about her sister's whereabouts. Leone looks eagerly to her revenge due to Kurome cutting off her left arm in the last battle. Before Leone could attack Kurome, Wave saves Kurome and engages his two enemies. In another room, Esdeath orders Borick to stay put. Elsewhere, Tatsumi destroys the ruins in order to bury Suzuka. Laying down on the ground, Mine recalls how discrimination against her mixed blood had made her survive to change the world. She refuses to die. She uses Pumpkin and lets out a deadly laser that cuts down both Coro and Seryu in half. Seryu attempts to shoot Mine with her arm pistols, but she gets mowed down. Despite losing her torso, Seryu resorts to using her last resort, a bomb that will wipe out everything in its range. Mine realizes her Pumpkin is overheat and tries to run from the blast range.

With some difficulty, Coro crawls to Seryu. Seryu cries as she hugs Coro in her last moments. In the nick of time, Tatsumi saves Mine from the explosion. Blushing, Mine thanks Tatsumi for saving her, causing Tatsumi to blush as well. Back at Esdeath's location, she finds out Borick had left the room. Akame engages Holimaca and easily kills him by one scratch of her blade. Then, Lubbock hangs Borick to death. Najenda informs Esdeath that they had assassinated Borick and avoided a frontal confrontation with Esdeath.
