Monster Musume Episode List

Plot[]

After Lala declares Kurusu is the verge of death, Cerea and the others try to save Kurusu by fleeing from Lala. However, Kurusu figures out Lala is only pretending due to her Chuunibyou syndrome. In another story, Kurusu freaks out when they have no food and barely enough money to afford food. Luckily, the folks at the market donated food as a thank you gift to Kurusu's household. Later, Suu takes Kurusu to visit Kii at the forest to obtain vegetables. On the return trip to home, Draco attempts to attack Kurusu only to be shot down by Suu whose body harbors a lot of plant toxins. During dinner, Smith and the MON Squad visit Kurusu's household where Ms. Smith informs Kurusu that he could get reimbursement on food expenses.

List of Characters[]

Points of Interest[]

Female Human (Monster Musume Ep 12)
  • At 15:48, a woman holding a box of eggs has a sign that read TOHO, referencing to TOHO Animation studio.
  • Final Destination Reference: The beginning scenes reenact the Flight 180 death scene from Final Destination.
  • The names, Okayado and RYU, appear on the receipts.
  • The theme song, Fall in Love, at the end has added sound effects. Lala is added to the scene where the girls are in bridal outfits and embracing Kimihito.

Manga & Anime Differences[]

The following points show notable alterations from the source material. Click on an icon to show the full image.

  • The racist couple from episode 1 makes an appearance. Their scene is much longer than the manga counterpart. In the manga, they had no speaking lines.
  • Only in the manga, they go into depth into distinguishing between safe and poisonous plants and including names in the process (IE: Japanese Parsley vs Water Hemlock).
  • Only in the manga, Ms. Smith appears in the Kii's forest scene where she informs Kurusu that she is still looking for a foster family for Kii.
  • Suu's punishment for Draco was extended (at the same time, filled with ecchi and nudity) in the manga. Also, Draco did not fly in the manga scene.
  • Polt only appears in the manga, and she pops after Suu punishes Draco. She has a scene where she gives Kurusu and Suu, cat fish, while instructing them to drain the fish's blood.
  • The restaurant scene at the end of chapter 25 is manga exclusive.
  • In the manga, Centorea pulls out a metal rod to protect Kimihito from Lala on the bridged. Compared to the anime, she assumes a martial arts form without any weapon.
